Ingredients:
16 1/2-inch slices French bread, cut on the diagonal
6 to 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, broken into large pieces
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/3 cups milk
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
8 strawberries

1. Place 8 slices of French bread in a single layer in a buttered 9 X 13 baking dish. Divide the chocolate pieces among the slices and place the remaining bread on top.
