Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 cups rice krispies
1 package (12 oz) butterscotch chips
1 package (12 oz) chocolate chips (semi-sweet morsels work best)
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter in a large pot over medium heat until melted and creamy.
2. Add in the rice krispies and mix until evenly covered, and rice krispies start to stick together.
3. Once mixed, pour into a 9x13 pan and evenly spread out rice krispie mixture.
4. Pour the entire bag of butterscotch chips and 1/2 of the bag of chocolate chips into a sauce pan. Using low heat, melt the chips. *Note: Melting chocolate on a high heat will cause chocolate to burn and not melt into creamy mixture*
5. Once melted, pour on top of rice krispie mixture. Set pan in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the topping to set up.
