Sauteed Broccoli Hot

Ingredients: 
I pound broccoli
3 tablespoons finely graded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Preparation:
1. Fill pot with water and bring to boil.
2. Fill large bowl with half ice and half water. When the water comes to a boil, add the broccoli using a strainer with handle. 
3. Cook broccoli for 1 to 2 minutes until just tender.
4. Immediately remove from boiling water using a strainer and transfer to boil of ice to stop the cooking process for 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Remove and place in dish that has been lined with paper towels.
6. In a cup or small bowl mix together cheese and brown sugar, set aside.
7. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. 
8. Throw in broccoli and season with red pepper flaske and salt and pepper.
9. Stir to coat broccoli then cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
10. Remove from heat and dust with cheese sugar mixture and serve.
